A concise selection of recently executed projects

AFRICA – PROCUREMENT
Sierra Leone	Appointed Procurement Agent for the DFID financed Sierra Leone Infrastructure Reconstruction Programme (SLIRP). Procurement of materials for reconstruction and extension of water supply, water storage and electricity distribution and several areas of the country.
Rwanda	Appointed Procurement Agent for the Rwanda Education Sector Support Programme, to procure a wide range of educational materials, including equipment for a distance physics and chemic training course, components for training computer technicians and machine shop for a polytechnic school.
Rwanda	Procurement agent for the DFID Programme Office, to procure amongst others, safety features for the new-built office building, power supply and vehicles.
Burundi	On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands, IPA arranged turn key delivery of a transit camp for former combatants. The camp is designed to serve as training facility for several consecutive groups of approximately 2000 men, prior to the actual re-integration. The work effected by IPA included procurement of local services for site preparation and camp set-up, international procurement of tents, blankets, power and water supply materials, kitchen units as well as the on-going procurement of consumables and food for the inhabitants.
Eritrea	Procurement agent for the Eritrean Police Support Programme. Scope of work includes procurement of police vehicles, SOCO and forensic equipment, patrol boat and complete furnishing of a police training centre.
The Gambia	Procurement of various equipment and supplies on behalf of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, financed by EU/EDF
Sierra Leone	Procurement Agent for the Commonwealth Community Safety and Security Programme; Appointed as procurement agent to purchase equipment required to re-establish a civil police force in Sierra Leone under a grant of the British Government. Equipment including a new fleet of police vehicles, motorcycles, uniforms, a nation wide secure communication network etc. DFID financed.
Malawi	Procurement of transport equipment, office equipment and materials, medical equipment and supplies for Malawi Health Population and Nutrition Programme; for the ETC Foundation, on behalf of The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Sierra Leone	Procurement Agent for the Community Reintegration Programme; Appointed as procurement agent to purchase equipment to set up employment projects for ex combatants in Sierra Leone as technical assistance by DFID
Ethiopia	Turn-key procurement and supply services to the Central Region Project. Technical assistance and procurement of goods and equipment, including installation and training of two vehicle workshops Principal: Water Supply and Sewerage Authorities / UNDP
Sierra Leone	Appointed as the Procurement Agent for the DFID financed part of Operation PEBU, Sierra Leone; Full range of procurement services, including assessment of needs, sourcing, tendering, evaluating, price verification, buying, inspection, shipping, clearance and inland forwarding to final destinations. Product range included a wide scale of hardware building materials, aggregate, sand, cement, block-making machines etc
Sierra Leone	Appointed as the Procurement Agent of International Federation for Electoral Support (IFES) in the UK; Full range of procurement services; Products such as;- Transport equipment, vehicles, electoral Equipment, Photo ID systems etc

ASIA / MIDDLE EAST– PROCUREMENT
Nepal	Procurement Agent on behalf of the Gurkha Welfare Scheme, to supply drilling equipment for phase III of the Rural Water & Sanitation Programme
Yemen	Procurement agent for NWSA Spare Parts Project; Rehabilitation in two Phases (1+1B and 2), by means of Assessment and supply of materials and technical assistance to 7 NWSA Branches in Yemen to upgrade their performance. Financed by Dutch Government
China	Forest Conservation and Community Development Project, Kunming China; Procurement of vehicles funded by the Netherlands Government.

EUROPE – PROCUREMENT
Bosnia Herzegovina	Procurement agent for The Netherlands ‘Private Sector Facility’ for the reconstruction of Bosnia & Herzegovina; Procurement, installation and training of city buses, dump-trucks, garbage collection vehicles, wheel-loaders, medical equipment, cattle, airport equipment. Turn key supply of potato processing plant, demonstration farms, milk processing plant, mini-dairies.
Bosnia Herzegovina	Establish an efficient procurement team in Sarajevo, responsible for the full procurement cycle, from assessment of needs and writing of specifications to monitoring of the timely delivery of the goods to their final destinations. Monthly reporting to the Commission. Programme maximum value: 32,6 million ECU.

AMERICA – PROCUREMENT
Bolivia	Under the Frame contract of DGIS (Dutch Aid) procured vehicles for the Autapo, Tarija, Bolivia funded by the Royal Netherlands Embassy.
Suriname	Procurement agent for Rehabilitation of the Police Force in Surinam; Procurement of police vehicle, motorcycles, office equipment, CID equipment, secured- and general communication equipment, uniforms, prison reconstruction materials
Guyana	Telecommunication and Meteo / Civil Aviation for Guyana and Surinam
Suriname	The Procurement of supplies, installation, commissioning, technical assistance and training of Navigational Aids, Telecommunication and Meteo equipment
