Emergency response to civil unrest in Liberia

During, and shortly after the civil unrest in Liberia, IPA has supplied Food stuffs, Compact food, Milk powder, Health kits, Plastic sheeting, Jerrycans, Generators, Soap & Hygiene kits to several principals in Liberia. For this rapid response IPA used 2 Aircrafts, hence the urgently required goods were at the disposal of the projects within 1 week.

Blankets to Afghanistan / Burundi

Purchase and delivery of 250.000 Blankets and 50.000 Clothing Kits. Goods have been send to Afghanistan as well as Burundi where the kits will be distributed amongst the displaced persons who have become victim of the civil unrest in both areas. The clothing kits can and will be used for the establishment of winter clothing. The clothing will be fabricated by the persons themselves.

Supply of Refurbished ex Dutch Army DAF Trucks to Eritrea

On behalf of one of our UN principals we have supplied 3 DAF trucks to Eritrea. The former Dutch army (ex NATO) DAF trucks were selectively chosen from the stock available and reconditioned in accordance with the latest technical requirements. The units were shipped to Eritrea within 3 weeks.

Emergency response to earthquake in India (Gujarat)

In continuation of the supply of 17 (IL 18) flights with Emergency Tents to Gujarat for MSF, a further 32 flights are effected in combination with IPA USA on behalf of World Vision. A tight production and airlift schedule, connecting directly with the WV local distribution system warrants delivery of the tents directly to the roofless families within 72 hours after production.

Emergency response to displaced persons and victims of war in Iraq

Supply and delivery of large quantities of equipment and first need items for the persons who have been become victim of the Iraq war. Scope of supply included: Blankets, Tents, Sheeting, IT Equipment & Generator sets.

Northern Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project Laos PDR

Purchase of materials and establishing a logistic supply chain under extreme conditions including transhipment and local transport adjusted to bad road conditions. Arranging for UV protected storage location at the disposal of recipients till finalisation of civil works

Supply of building materials to Ternate, Indonesia

On behalf of one of our UN principals we have supplied building materials (plywood, corrugated iron sheets, cement, nails, bolts and nuts) for the construction of emergency accommodation (1400 houses) for displaced persons in Maluku, Indonesia.

The delivery of the materials took place in 4 consignments; each shipment individually dispatched by a chartered vessel. The building materials have been supplied to a secure warehouse in Ternate, Indonesia. IPA B.V. has placed this warehouse at the disposal of the project during the duration and completion of the project. The emergency houses will be built by the beneficiaries themselves in close co-operation with the UN supported project.
